Feels like if someone identifies as a certain gender, they should just get to compete in that category like everyone else does.
I've trained my entire life in women's sports, and watching the years of sacrifice so many female athletes have put in get discussed as a secondary concern in this conversation is something I think about with real sadness for what competitive fairness is supposed to mean for women specifically.
